ONLINE COMMUNITY DESIGN & MANAGEMENT

Sound familiar?

Here at Communally, we help you build online spaces that are safe, aesthetically pleasing, and easy to navigate so your people can go from followers to engaged, community members.

It’s a gift for both you and them - you help them connect outside the comment threads and dodge the digital chaos so they can focus in on your epic resources, engaging webinars, and trusted expertise in one centralized space, all while you make some cash money for all that value you’re dishing out.

Good news—gathering all your people in one digital space just got a lot easier. We’ll do the techy, hard parts so you can do the fun, connective stuff.

I think I get it but what do you do exactly?

I GOTCHU.

What we do.

We build out your online community hub.

I’m going to introduce you to my Digital BFF, Circle, an epic platform for hosting online communities and courses. We’ll work together to make sure this space reflects your brand, has relevant community spaces, your amazing educational content in easy-to-find locations, and maybe even an Events Calendar, if you’re into that sort of thing.

We bring your people to this better, monetizable space.

We’ll invite the heck of out these folks to make sure they make it to the party. We’ll make onboarding them as smooth as possible, and we’ll wow them with what’s waiting for them.

We see your community thrive.

As we grow your community, in depth and in number of human beings, we’ll meet their needs by evolving with them as they ask for some of this and some of that. We’ll find ways to continue giving them valuable content and ways to truly connect.

Our Services

  • If you already have a community and just need an expert’s eyes on it, we can do a one-time audit where I’ll learn your goals, review your community, and give you feedback, recommended adjustments, and more.

  • Depending on your need, this would involve a branding session and the subsequent designing.

If Brand Guidelines are already established, I will apply these to your Circle community.

If Design Team already exists, we will work out a collaboration/review process - they can be the ones to do it! I’ll review it to ensure things work in this platform.

  • You’ll essentially book me on retainer, with a 1-month minimum to start, and then the option to move to 3-month contracts.

  • If you want :)

The benefits of bringing your community to Circle.

1. Deeper Audience Engagement

Unlike social media, a community platform allows meaningful conversations, fostering stronger relationships.

2. More Ownership & Control

No more dealing with outside social media algorithms that limit reach or engagement.

3. Monetization Opportunities

You can offer paid memberships, exclusive content, courses, or coaching without platform restrictions cutting into revenue.

4. Better Brand Loyalty

A community builds trust and loyalty, making followers more likely to support your products and services.

5. Higher Engagement Rates

Unlike crowded, public social platforms, members in a private community are more engaged and invested in discussions.

6. Direct Access to Feedback

Gain real-time insights into what your audience wants, helping you refine your content, products, or services.

7. Recurring Revenue Potential

You can introduce subscription-based models for premium content, mentorship, or mastermind groups.

8. Exclusive & Safe Space

Unlike social media, a private community offers a safe, controlled environment without distractions or negativity.

9. Community-Led Growth

Members naturally share and invite others, helping you organically grow a dedicated fanbase.

10. Diversification & Stability

Relying only on social media is risky. A community protects your brand from algorithm changes, bans, or platform shutdowns.

“Community is not just an engagement channel—it is a core strategic asset. As organizations adapt to rapidly changing markets and consumer behaviors, leveraging community ecosystems will be a critical factor in building resilient, innovative, and human-centric organizations.

Organizations must move beyond treating community as a side project—and begin to integrate it into the heart of their business strategy in an equitable way, turning community participation, contributions, and insights into competitive advantage.”

Seems like a no-brainer,
so what’s next?

  • I need to see where we’re starting from and where we’re going. I’ll give you space to dream big and pour your heart out. I’ll make it fun, I promise.

  • I’ll get in touch with you, we’ll set up a time to meet digitally and we’ll talk through all that we could do together!

  • Quick, I know! It won’t be a diamond ring, but it will be a fancy contract. I’ll send the deets. You’ll sign the deets. I’ll get to the build-out.

  • This will be for you (and your team) to review what I’ve created, give feedback, and ensure we get the Launch State to 10/10.

  • This will require more text than what I can fit here, but basically, we’ll make sure everything is in order for the launch.

  • (though we can totally celebrate this with treats!) We’ll launch this puppy, get your amazing people to the party, and see their energy in the digital space, finally!

  • Depending on your needs, this will vary, but the basics are: consistent check-ins, me managing the vibes in the space, you getting to ask me all your questions, me handing off the reins OR you keeping me around and saying plz help me forever!

About Emily

The Gal Behind Communally

Who doesn’t love finding themselves in spaces brimming with creativity and connection? Personally, that’s one of my favorite feelings—that magic of meaningful human connection. The power of connection is one of my passions, and when I reflect, I realize it always has been.

From loving team sports to choreographing Spice Girls dances with friends, into years of leading in-person groups and more recently, gathering people through online platforms, I’ve come to know that cultivating community is my jam.

The internet has plenty of noise, negativity, and chaos, so I believe in carving out little pockets of light—spaces where we can feel connected and valued, and be reminded of the good in the world. This life moves fast, and technology seems to move even quicker so I want to make the most of both—savoring, celebrating, connecting, and creating little corners of the internet that feel like home.

OTHER JOYS: Time with my family, exploring my new home in the Twin Cities, taking trips with my partner, Josh, oat milk lattes and chai in the afternoon, big existential questions, old-school movie theaters, skating rinks, olden hour, my catsFuji & Pepper, and sad girl music like Lizzy McAlpine, Tiny Habits, and The Story So Far. Also, popcorn, chips & salsa, and an excessive amount of ginger sushi restaurants.

“What you have done with the Circle community is incredible."

“Circle has become so pretty since you came."

“It's so inspiring to see how you're curating Circle to be so much for so many-and in such fun, engaging ways."
